Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM)
Why Andrews Eades for Construction Design & Management?
CDM aims to improve health and safety in the construction industry and is applicable to all projects.
Under CDM there are various roles which must be assigned to different persons (or dutyholders) for each project, with each dutyholder being responsible for managing different aspects relating to health and safety.
Andrews Eades are experienced in taking on the role of Principle Designer, who is broadly responsible for co-ordinating health and safety in the pre-construction phase of a project. We may also issue an F10 form to the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) if the project is considered notifiable, which provides the HSE with key project information prior to commencement.
We also provide comprehensive advice and guidance to clients regarding their role and responsibilities under CDM 2015.
